DMT Group exits the technology business throughout the disposal of the business unit of the subsidiary DMT System SpA
The Board of Directors of DMT S.p.A. has approved the disposal of the business unit of the subsidiary DMT System SpA.
The transaction includes the disposal of the business unit of the subsidiary DMT System SpA consisting of the whole personnel and its related liabilities, inventories, payables to suppliers and other operating assets such as equipment, brand and instruments.
The buyer is a company specialized in technology for broadcast operators and refers to the former CEO of DMT
System, Giovanni Brenda.
Financial details related to the transaction will be disclosed at the closing expected by the end of the first quarter; the transaction is only subject to union’s favorable opinion in compliance with the related regulations.
As a consequence of this transaction, DMT becomes a pure infrastructure operator for communication finally aligned to its peers in terms of business model, respecting the commitments undertaken with its institutional investors.
